Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has been launched in India as the latest Fan Edition smartphone in the Galaxy S series. It brings a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Exynos 2500 processor, triple rear cameras and a 4,900mAh battery.

The Galaxy S26 FE is also the first phone in the Galaxy S26 family to launch with One UI 9 based on Android 17. Samsung is offering the handset with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, along with Galaxy AI features. Customers can receive Rs 7,000 cashback on major bank cards or choose a 12-month no-cost bank EMI on Galaxy S26 FE purchases.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE price in India is Rs 79,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It is available in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio colour options. As part of the launch offers, customers can get an upgrade bonus of up to Rs 8,000 when exchanging an old smartphone. There is also an option for up to 30 months of no-cost EMI through select NBFC partners, along with an additional Rs 3,000 upgrade bonus.

Alternatively, customers can receive Rs 7,000 cashback on major bank cards or choose a 12-month no-cost bank EMI. Buyers making purchases through Samsung’s e-store can also opt for an 18-month bank EMI.

The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits of brightness. The display is designed for smoother scrolling, gaming and video playback while retaining the high-contrast AMOLED experience associated with Samsung’s premium phones.

Powering the smartphone is Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor, built using a 3nm process. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone runs Android 17 with One UI 9 and is promised seven years of software and security updates. The phone measures 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm and weighs 193g. It also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE gets a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS. The telephoto camera supports 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, there is a 12-megapixel front camera. Samsung has also added features including Nightography, ProVisual Engine, Super Steady with Horizontal Lock and My FanCam.

My FanCam can automatically track a selected person and keep them centred in the frame while recording. This can be useful when shooting moving subjects or recording videos intended for social media. Samsung’s Photo Assist also allows users to edit images using natural-language prompts. The phone supports Gemini Omni for creating and editing video clips using photos and videos stored in the Gallery.

The Galaxy S26 FE arrives with a wider set of Galaxy AI features through One UI 9. The updated Now Brief can provide personalised information through cards, while Now Nudge can surface contextual suggestions across supported third-party apps and notifications.

Circle to Search with Google can also identify or search for multiple objects in a single image. Together with Photo Assist and Gemini Omni, these features make AI a more visible part of the phone’s everyday use.

The Galaxy S26 FE packs a 4,900mAh battery and supports 45W wired charging. Samsung says the phone can reach up to 69 per cent charge in around 30 minutes when used with a 45W adapter. The phone also supports 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare, allowing it to wirelessly charge compatible devices and accessories.
