Honda Elevate Facelift Exterior Design

The biggest visual changes are at the front. The Elevate now gets a segmented LED DRL strip above the grille, while the grille has been redesigned with a gloss-black mesh finish. The Honda badge has also moved from the grille to the leading edge of the bonnet.

At the rear, a new LED light bar visually connects the tail-lamps. The alloy wheel design remains unchanged, while the body cladding now gets a gloss-black finish. Honda has also added Nordic Forest Pearl to the colour range, available in monotone and dual-tone versions.

Honda Elevate Facelift Interior and Features

The cabin receives more substantial changes than the exterior. The biggest addition is ventilation for the rear seats, claimed by Honda as a segment-first feature. Both front seats are now powered and ventilated, while higher variants also get factory-fitted ambient lighting.

Honda has added a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors and capacitive-touch rear LED reading lamps. CVT variants also get an electronic parking brake with auto hold. The dashboard has been updated with white leatherette padding and stitching in place of the earlier faux-wood treatment.

The existing 10.25-inch infotainment screen, semi-digital instrument cluster, single-pane sunroof, LaneWatch camera, wireless charger, smartphone connectivity and six airbags continue to be offered.

Honda Elevate Facelift Gets More Safety Features

Safety equipment has also been expanded. The facelift adds front parking sensors and rear disc brakes, while Honda Sensing now gets adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow on CVT variants.

The Elevate continues with its Level 2 ADAS package, including functions such as lane keeping assistance, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.

Honda Elevate Facelift Engine and Mileage

Honda has retained the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine. It produces 121hp and 145Nm and continues to be available with a 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox.

The claimed fuel efficiency stands at 15.31kpl for the manual and 16.61kpl for the CVT. Unlike the Honda City, the Elevate still does not get the 1.5-litre strong-hybrid powertrain.

Honda Elevate Facelift Gets Better Cabin Insulation

Honda has also addressed one of the criticisms of the earlier Elevate: cabin noise. The facelift gets additional sound-deadening material around areas including the instrument panel and wheel wells.

Honda claims this improves NVH levels inside the cabin, particularly by reducing engine, tyre and road noise. The real-world improvement will ultimately depend on driving conditions, but this is one of the more practical changes to the facelift.

Honda Elevate Facelift: What Has Changed?

The facelift does not bring a new engine or a major mechanical overhaul. Instead, Honda has concentrated on areas where the original Elevate was beginning to fall behind rivals, particularly cabin equipment, parking technology, comfort features and ADAS functionality.

The addition of ventilated front and rear seats, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, powered front seats and improved cabin insulation makes the updated Elevate a more feature-rich proposition without changing its core petrol powertrain.

Honda Elevate Facelift Rivals

The updated Elevate continues to compete in India’s crowded midsize SUV segment against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun, among others.

Its strongest change is not performance but equipment. Honda has retained the naturally aspirated petrol engine while adding features that are increasingly expected by buyers in this segment.
