Xiaomi Launches Power Banks in India With Up to 165W Charging

Xiaomi has launched three new power banks in India, expanding its charging accessory lineup with options focused on portability, magnetic wireless charging and high-speed wired charging. The new range includes the UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W, Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W and Power Bank 20000 165W.

The three models cover different requirements, from a slim 5,000mAh magnetic power bank to a 20,000mAh model capable of up to 165W combined output for high-power devices. The UltraThin model goes on sale from September 11, while the 10,000mAh magnetic model will be available from September 15.

UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W

The Xiaomi UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W is the smallest model in the new lineup and is designed for users who want additional battery power without carrying a bulky accessory. It packs a 5,000mAh battery into a 6mm-thick body and weighs 98g. Xiaomi’s global specifications list up to 15W wireless charging and up to 22.5W wired charging through USB-C.

The power bank is available in Graphite Black, Glacier Silver and Radiant Orange. It can also charge two devices simultaneously using its wired and wireless charging options. The Indian launch price is Rs 5,999, while the introductory price is Rs 5,599. It will go on sale from September 11.

Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W

The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W increases the battery capacity to 10,000mAh while retaining magnetic wireless charging. It supports up to 25W magnetic wireless charging and up to 45W wired charging. The power bank also comes with an integrated USB-C cable.

The model supports charging standards including QC and USB Power Delivery, making it suitable for a wider range of smartphones and other compatible devices. The Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 10000 45W is priced at Rs 3,999, with an introductory price of Rs 3,699. It will be available from September 15.

Power Bank 20000 165W

The Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 165W is the most powerful model in the new range. It has a 20,000mAh battery and supports up to 165W of combined wired output. The power bank has a built-in USB-C cable, an additional USB-C port and a USB-A port.

The high output is split across compatible ports, with the built-in USB-C cable capable of up to 120W and the additional USB-C port supporting up to 45W. This allows the power bank to handle higher-power devices such as compatible laptops alongside smartphones.

A colour smart display is also included. It shows information such as remaining battery percentage, charging or discharging speed and estimated runtime. The Xiaomi Power Bank 20000 165W has an MRP of Rs 5,499 and an introductory price of Rs 4,999. It will be available from September 11.

Xiaomi Power Banks: What They Offer

The new lineup gives buyers three distinct choices. The UltraThin model prioritises compactness and magnetic charging, the 10,000mAh version combines magnetic charging with higher wired output, while the 20,000mAh model focuses on high-power charging for multiple devices.

All three models will be sold through Xiaomi’s online and retail channels, with availability also extending to platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart according to the launch information.

For everyday phone charging, the UltraThin and 10,000mAh models target portability and magnetic convenience. The 20,000mAh version is aimed more at users carrying multiple devices, particularly where higher wired power is required.
