Vivo T5 5G Launched in India: Price, Specifications and Features
Vivo has launched the T5 5G in India, adding a new model to its T-series smartphone lineup. The phone combines a large 7,050mAh battery with a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor and a 50-megapixel Sony camera with optical image stabilisation.
The Vivo T5 5G will be available in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options. It runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and comes with IP68 and IP69 protection against dust and water. The smartphone will go on sale in India from September 9.

Vivo T5 5G Price in India and Sale Date
The Vivo T5 5G starts at Rs 34,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 39,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs 44,999. The top-end 12GB + 256GB configuration is priced at Rs 49,999.
Vivo is also offering launch discounts on eligible bank cards. Customers purchasing the base variant can get an instant discount of up to Rs 3,500, while the other variants are eligible for discounts of up to Rs 4,000 on selected HDFC Bank, SBI and Axis Bank cards. The phone goes on sale from September 9 through Flipkart, Vivo’s India e-store and partner retail outlets.
Vivo T5 5G Colours
The smartphone is available in two finishes: Royal Bronze and Silver Green. Vivo has used a curved design for the handset, with the rear camera module integrated into the overall styling. The phone measures 164.42 x 75.25 x 7.99mm and weighs approximately 199 grams. It also features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
Vivo T5 5G Display
The Vivo T5 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with curved edges and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The screen has a resolution of 2,800 x 1,260 pixels and a pixel density of 449ppi.
Vivo says the display supports a 300Hz touch sampling rate and a wide DCI-P3 colour gamut. It also supports HDR10+ and offers high brightness for outdoor viewing, while the 144Hz refresh rate is designed to provide smoother scrolling and animations in supported applications.

MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo Processor
Under the hood, the Vivo T5 5G is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. The processor is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, while the phone also includes the MediaTek NPU 850 for on-device AI processing.
Vivo has equipped the handset with a large vapour-chamber cooling system to help manage heat during demanding workloads. The company claims an AnTuTu score of 1,202,592 for the device, although benchmark results can vary depending on testing conditions and software versions.
7,050mAh Battery With 44W Charging
Battery capacity is one of the main highlights of the Vivo T5 5G. The phone packs a 7,050mAh typical-capacity battery, which Vivo says is designed to provide extended usage between charges.
The smartphone supports 44W FlashCharge. Vivo also claims up to 85 hours of music playback and 34.7 hours of local video playback under its laboratory testing conditions. The company says the battery is designed to retain at least 80 percent of its capacity after 1,600 complete charge cycles, equivalent to approximately five years under its stated testing assumptions.

Vivo T5 5G Camera Specifications
For photography, the Vivo T5 5G has a dual-camera setup on the rear. It consists of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
The main camera has an f/1.79 aperture, while the ultra-wide camera has an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the phone features a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The handset supports 4K video recording from both the front and rear cameras.
OriginOS 6 and Software Updates
The Vivo T5 5G ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo has committed to three major Android or operating system upgrades along with five years of security updates for the smartphone.
The phone also includes a range of AI-based imaging and productivity features. These include AI Erase 2.0 for removing unwanted objects from photographs and AI UHD for improving image resolution and detail.

Connectivity and Other Features
The Vivo T5 5G supports 5G connectivity along with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. It uses a USB Type-C port and supports navigation systems including GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, NavIC and QZSS.
The handset also includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, colour-temperature sensor and gyroscope. Vivo has given the phone IP68 and IP69 ratings, along with claimed military-grade durability features for additional protection during everyday use.
