What is RailOne App?
Unveiled by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on CRIS’s 40th Foundation Day, RailOne brings multiple Indian Railways services into one platform.
Instead of juggling apps like IRCTC Rail Connect, UTS Mobile, Food-on-Track, Rail Madad, and others—passengers can now manage everything through one lightweight app.
Available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, the app offers a cleaner interface and saves device storage.

RailOne App Features: What’s Inside
- Unified Ticketing: Book reserved, unreserved, or platform tickets without switching apps.
- Live PNR & Train Tracking: Real-time train location, coach position, journey status, and live alerts.
- Integrated R-Wallet: Rechargeable e-wallet with biometric and m-PIN login. Users get 3% discount on unreserved ticket purchases.
- Single Sign-On: Login via existing IRCTC or UTS credentials, plus OTP-based guest mode for new users.
- E-Catering & Taxi Booking: Order meals, book porters, or arrange last-mile cabs—all inside the app.
- Rail Madad Grievance Redressal: Submit complaints or feedback quickly, track resolution status.
- Multilingual Support: Interface available in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, and more.

Backend Upgrades Coming Soon
Indian Railways has also announced a major upgrade to its Passenger Reservation System (PRS):
- New PRS Rollout by Dec 2025:
- Target: 1.5 lakh bookings per minute capacity
- Multi-language booking interface
- Seat & Fare Calendar
- Divyangjan-friendly UI
- Tatkal Ticket Rule Change:
- From July 1, 2025, Aadhaar or DigiLocker authentication is mandatory for Tatkal bookings.
- OTP-based verification will start by end of July 2025.
- Chart Preparation Timings Revised:
- Charts will now be prepared 8 hours before departure, replacing the previous 4-hour rule.
- For morning trains (before 2 PM), charting will happen by 9 PM the night before.
